The rather intense month just past, Aries, now yields to an equally intense April as signaled by the recent wild New Moon eclipse in your sign, accompanied by the entrance of Neptune into Aries on that same pre-April weekend. This all provides an attitude of fantasy and imagination to light your way. There is this big feeling of brand new that accelerates through the various stages of the Mercury and the Venus retrograde. Mercury stations to direct motion on the 7th and, after re-entering your sign on the late evening of the 15th, finally escapes its post-retrograde shadow on the 26th. Venus in turn stations direct on the 12th, re-enters Aries on the 30th, and takes until mid-May to return to where she started. This entire April month, while exciting, thus has its introspective flavor, compounded by the numinous presence of Neptune. The 7th in particular is an entirely dreamy time when almost nothing seems to be able to get concretely done; there is progress, however, deep within, which might include a glimpse of inner wounding that has perhaps been lurking, and yet could in this monthly cycle find a degree of resolution if you are able to provide loving attention to your dark places. The Full Moon of the 12th in your opposite sign is also a powerful juncture when matters of relationship could be coming to a head and reaffirming your soul intention in this regard. There is a great deal of healing potential coming, all through, from below the surface layers of your psyche.

As you enter April, you find yourself in the window of the New Moon and Solar Eclipse from March 29th that took place in your sign. This sets you up in the early days of a cycle of fresh awareness centered around your identity, purpose and natural essence, which could impact the next six months and beyond. The ruler of this New Moon, your chart ruler Mars, located in Cancer, closely squares Chiron in your sign during this lunation. You could be motivated in household settings – or in terms of your root psychology – toward coming to terms with early childhood wounding and your place within the family dynamic; and this also could apply to your family of origin. You have an unusual determination to forge ahead with major plans in the freshness of this New Moon eclipse energy, although the continuing presence of both Mercury and Venus in retrograde implies that plan made now could change later in the month as these planets are recovering from this earlier retrograde cycle.
On the 4th, the First Quarter Moon appears in Cancer, co-present with Mars, again emphasizing themes of nurture, safety, your sanctuary, or familiar environments. Here, though conflicted, you might come to make greater sense of your inner world or private life in contrast to ego needs or exercising your own individual will as opposed to family matters. You are perhaps forging greater acceptance around how you care for yourself and others.
In this First Quarter Moon also, ambitious Saturn forms a partile or same-degree sextile to Uranus in Taurus, while Mars is tied to both planets, being closely trine to Saturn in your sign, and closely sextile Uranus. This is an electric aspectual configuration, simultaneously fortifying and startling, supplying recognition of changes you’ve been undergoing in your individual role and financial landscape, with surprises in the mix. There is an inner determination to be making progress on largely unconscious matters within you – therefore hidden from view.
Additionally, Mercury (still in retrograde) and Venus (also retrograde) are conjoined in Pisces and the water element, encouraging you to embrace healing, solitude and your imagination, in your low-key and behind-the-scenes twelfth house of unconscious process. You might be drawn toward soothing yourself, finding peace from within, filling your own cup, and accepting the position you find yourself in with grace. It may be apparent that radical adjustments have occurred around your input, contributions, and value. Your approach to your self-worth could be being radically altered, thanks to Uranus, planet of switch-ups and unconventionality.
From the 5th to the 7th, Venus more closelt conjuncts Saturn, indicating greater concentration and commitment for partnerships, plus enjoys a trine to Mars, and finds herself participating in the strong Saturn sextile to Uranus in Taurus, highlighting the contrast between holding on and letting go of restrictions. There are continued surprises, unexpected information, ad inner conflicts on exactly how to proceed, including with your relationship front.
On the 7th also, Mercury stations to direct motion, standing therefore dead still in the sky, which represents one peak of the entire Mercury Retrograde period. Mercury will slowly recover over the next couple of weeks, escaping its post-retrograde shadow by the 26th. You may benefit from embracing a serious approach to your career and recovery practices, formalizing spiritual regimes with extra consistency, patiently advancing whichever agenda suit your needs, attempting to resolve internal conflicts going on behind the scenes.
The Libra Full Moon arrives on the evening of the 12th, in your opposite sign, reflecting matters of self and other. Also at this significant juncture, within an hour, Venus stations direct, so that she is affecting things even more strongly in the way of introspection and review, and this is especially true in your relationship realms. Libra is governed by Venus, so this is a focus right now as Venus slows to a standstill and starts slowly to straighten out. Inner matters that affect your relationship dynamic are becoming more conscious. The exalted Aries Sun is conjunct Chiron during this Full Moon, prompting you to examine painful truths about yourself and begin to work on these signs of inner wounding.
You could be becoming more profoundly aware of important partnerships, and how a significant other has inspired a shift – or even a transformation – within you. Venus and Mars still aligned in water signs at this point fares well for you, so that there is benefit for you in seeking to accept your internal soul-searching process.
On the late evening of the 15th, Mercury re-enters your sign, forming an immediate conjunction to Neptune, and three days later, on the 18th, Mars re-enters Leo. These shifts from Water to Fire could directly impact you, so that you’re coming out of a sensitive spell – incubating your dreams – further into a more passionate cycle that facilitates creativity. It could become easier expressing ideas that have long been under wraps. Perhaps you’ll teach or instigate fun, celebratory moments, performing center stage – putting heart into projects that are personal. For a brief window of several more days, the Sun in Aries and Mars in Leo are in mutual reception, an auspicious time to get behind plans that require you to be present, showing vitality and enthusiasm.
From the 18th to the 20th, as Taurus Season begins on the 19th, Mars arrives in a trine to Neptune, so that there is plenty of impulse to dream, as well as to make things happen, even though tentatively, with the recent retrogrades of both Mercury and Venus still in recovery mode.
On the 20th, the Last Quarter Moon arrives in Aquarius in the early degrees of this air sign, forming a conjunction to Pluto, opposing Mars and squaring the Sun in Taurus, which in turn squares Mars. This powerful T-square speaks to your passions, and to the audience, your peers or society you operate within, and to the necessary practical measures you might consider as you hotly pursue what you want. Despite high motivation and keenness for your own plans, you might be forced to play to the crowd, slowing down to do what’s sensible, reasonable, or economical. This is a powerful moment of transformation, when you are attempting to resolve a conflict of consciousness within you that will become the background for your further dynamic process of evolution over succeeding weeks and months of this dynamic 2025 year.
Also in this dynamic Last Quarter Moon, Mercury in your sign is tied to Pluto in a sextile, while Venus is sextile Uranus in Taurus, and conjunct Saturn, these additional aspects indicating the scope of potential change. You might gain traction among friends thanks to ideas you have, perhaps take on new writing projects or find close allies who will understand your message. It might be necessary to balance your inclination to connect, network and be a part of social goings on, with your own individual experience.
The Taurus New Moon lands on the 27th, and signals a fresh start for you in your resources that you bring to the table, including income, personal security and your financial position. You might feel the impulse to lean into what you know works for you intuitionally.
On the 30th, Venus moves back into your sign, bringing relationships once more to your attention as you slip into the May month.
